I joined another croquis (quick drawing) session on May 6th —\u00a0as usual, six x 20-min poses. Here is one of my six.<\/p>\n

I worked with a tri-color ball-point pen.
\nA tri-color ball-point pen usually has three colors, BLK, RD, and BL.
\nSince ball-points are commonly treated as a writing, not drawing, medium,
\nno other artist present at the croquis session used such a pen.
\nI, however, am nutty enough to try some “unusual” media in drawing and painting.<\/p>\n

To draw the “almost parallel curves”\u00a0 of BLK, RD, and BL in the background,
\nI removed the top cover of the pen and let my fingers hold the three color refills directly.<\/p>\n
