Currently, I’m working on two new projects — one a crayon (wax pastel) painting of lilies, and another one of a dreary social issue.<\/p>\n

Since this is Easter Monday (JST), I wanted to post a sketch for the lily painting,
\nbut I had to change my mind after hearing the sorrowful news of the bombing
\nterrorism in Sri Lanka!<\/p>\n

This social issue painting, whose sketch is shown here, might look like
\nsome terrible porn, but it’s actually about a grave social issue — domestic rapes.<\/p>\n

Recently, the Nagoya District Court of Japan gave a “not guilty” judgment
\nto a father who raped his own biological daughter over and over again.

Now, this is NOT “one of those rare cases” — honestly, I have heard
\ndepressing reports from similar victims, not a few in number.<\/p>\n

A home can be a hellish place of violence and abuse,
\nand a church can be a target of terrorism —
\nunless we really learn the way of peace.<\/p>\n
