20-min croquis, experimental \/ 20\u5206\u30af\u30ed\u30c3\u30ad\u30fc\u3001\u5b9f\u9a13\u30b9\u30bf\u30a4\u30eb<\/p><\/div>\n

I joined another croquis (quick drawing) session on July 28.
\nAs usual, 20 minutes x 6 poses.
\nI tried a “common” style, as shown below, for the first three poses.
\nThen, I noticed the model was not used to modeling and striving hard to
\nkeep her body in the same posture. I could even share her pain.<\/p>\n

Art modeling is not an easy job to do, you see.
\nIt’s not just “getting naked before the artists and remain static.”
\nKeeping your body in precisely the same posture is way harder to do
\nthan you imagine.<\/p>\n

I wanted to speak to the floor manager and ask him to
\ntell the model to take easier poses — at a nude croquis session, it is
\nusually prohibited for an artist to talk directly with the model.
\nAlas, the floor manager was gone during the break!<\/p>\n

So, for the last three poses, I changed my direction and tried
\nan experimental style, as you see above.
\nI hope you find it interesting.<\/p>\n
