I’ve been working on two new experimental paintings,
\nboth of the “scanner size” (A4, 297 x 210mm [11.7″ x 8.27″]).<\/p>\n

Why is the size??
\nNumerous NFT dealers have so far asked me to provide them
\nwith NFTs of my paintings, and so far I have refused. Why?<\/p>\n

My artworks are all painted with my own hands,
\nNaturally, to mint them into NFTs, one has to photograph
\nthem first. Now, photographing a painting inevitably
\ndeteriorates its colors. No camera is able to capture the
\n“true colors” of a painting.
\nAnd I consider myself as a “colorist” painter, who by definition
\nhates such color deterioration.<\/p>\n

So, I’m looking for a way out — a way to minimize color deterioration.
\n– Generally, a scanned image of a painting contains less
\ncolor deterioration than a photographed image does.
\n– Among many painting media and styles, pen-on-paper
\npointillism seems to suffer little color deterioration, when
\nscanned. (’cause it consists of simple “pen dots” of many
\ndifferent colors).<\/p>\n

So, now I’ve begun working on
\npen-pointillism paintings meant for scanning<\/span>.
\nNaturally, their size is 297 x 210mm (11.7″ x 8.27″).<\/p>\n

I’ve started creating two “scanner-sized pen pointillism”
\nworks in this experimment.
\nThe first motifs are flowers and nudes.<\/p>\n

When the works come out, I’ll ask some NFT dealers
\nif the works are “competent” in the NFT market.<\/p>\n
