\nSinging G.F. Handel’s “Lascia Ch’io Pianga,” I worked further on this painting, and I think it’s more painful now. I have some more way to go before getting it done.
\nIn “Weeping Face,”\u00a0 I am trying to paint a face that cannot even shout for peace, liberation, justice, etc., even though the face definitely yearns for them.
\nAs you know, oppression \/ persecution often tries to silence the victims —
\nObviously, they deserve to shout out, yet it requires the world’s intention to listen to them — before they shout out.<\/p>\n
