Whew, over the last week, I’ve been occupied with bead accessories and writing jobs — so, my painting has been stagnant.<\/p>\n

Anyway, in painting and even in drawing, I’m a colorist. This means I wish to use colors even in 20-minute croquis. Today, September 27th, I joined in a human model croquis (quick drawing) session again. Right before I hit the road today, I tried whether I could make a color croquis in 20 minutes or not. I set myself to a 20-min timer, and made the\u00a0rush pastel painting below.<\/p>\n

Well, I tried — as shown below. Still I think 20 minutes is too short a time to make a decent color croquis. I think this is a failure —-\u00a0 What do you say??<\/p>\n

At least one thing I can say for sure is:
