Shown above are my very old works already listed on the

Created back in 1989, when I was a beginner in painting,
technically the “flag” is quite immature, I know.
Yet here I show them again — the reason is obvious.
Seeing what is happening between the US and Iran,
I am praying for peace!
If you’re old enough to remember 1989,
you can recollect that this was the year when the Berlin Wall
collapsed. Many hoped a new age of peace would be initiated then.
Alas, we, humans, have yet to learn the way of peace —

こちらは新しい作品ではなくて、すでに本絵画ウェブサイトの
「（社会問題を描いたもの）」のページに掲載してあるものです。
私が絵画を始めたばかりの1989年の作品なので、
技術的には実にまずい「国旗」になっていますね。
それでも、ここでもう一度紹介しているのは、
平和を祈っているからです。
現在、アメリカとイランの間で起きていることを憂い、
平和をともに祈りましょう！
ある程度の年齢の方であれば、1989年の出来事を覚えてらっしゃるでしょう。
この年、ベルリンの壁が崩れ、世界に新しい平和の時代が到来する
ことを、多くの人々は願っていたのでした。
なんとまあ、今になっても、我々人類は、平和の道を知らないのですね ・・・
