Usually, in croquis, artists use soft and dark pencils like 6B or above.
Here, in this 20-min croquis from December 2,
I chose to work with a common “writing” pencil — HB.
As you see, the result has some “illusionary” effects —
was she really there?
Common drawing techniques are meant to depict the object
as “something firmly existent”, and I have nothing against it.
However, I do believe paintings can also show “half existence”.

ここで私は、よくある「筆記用」鉛筆、つまりHBを使いました。
12月2日の20分クロッキーです。
結果、どこか「幻影的な」効果がありますよね？
このモデルさん、本当にそこにいたのか？
通常の描画テクニックでは、対象がそこに「しっかりと
存在している」ものとして描きます。私も、それに反対するものでは、
ありません。
ただ、「存在しているような、いないような」感じも、絵画は表せると
考えるのですね。
