So, here’s Post 3 of the “scorching summer old pieces.”
This is just a 7-min croquis from way back 1980s — you see that the foreshortening is not correct.
Still, I like the ennui atmosphere it carries.

これは単なる７分クロッキーで、1980年代のもの。foreshorteningがくるってますよね！
でも、醸し出しているennuiな雰囲気が好きなんです。

As I said yesterday below, Tokyo’s deadly heat is really ruining my productivity currently, and my progress with new paintings is very slow for now.
So, I have to post my very old drawings, croquis, etc. this week.
This is my sketch of the San Francisco City Hall from way back 1994.

Currently, I’m busy wth a commissioned portrait and a writing job amid the mortal heat wave here in Tokyo.
The heat is ruining my concentration and my “productivity” is around 1/3 of usual.
So, here, just allow me to post a 20-min croquis from almost a decade ago.

new painting. Now, at long last, I’ve resumed the work on this one.
