Way below on March 31st, I posted an “automatism” pastel painting in progress, and it has been in the making behind the scene so far.
One problem with automatism is that it can lead you halfway in the creative process, yet sometimes it leaves you undetermined as to which way to go, in the process.
This precisely happened to me after March 31.
After 2 months, I decided to proceed in the direction shown below —

ずっと下の3月31日で、「オートマティズム」によるパステル作品の制作途上の様子を紹介しました。それから、個々ではしばらく紹介しませんでしたね。
オートマティズムの問題として、途中まではそれで進めるのですが、ある時点でどう進めるかが分からなくなる場合があります。
3月31日の後、私もまさしくそうした問題に直面しました。
結局、2か月たって、下に示す方向で進むことにしたわけですね。
