On December 2nd, I joined another croquis session — as usual 20 minutes x 6 poses.
I applied orange crayon (wax pastel) onto the croquis paper and, alas, it did not leave solid orange but the orange dots you see in the image below.
This was only because the sheet of paper I was working on was close to the end of the croquis book. The book’s back cover was made of some coarse paper with a lot of ups and downs on it. So, it was a sort of frottage.
The same frottage effect happened with the other colors too.

12月2日も、クロッキー会に行ってきました。いつも通り、20分 X 6ポーズです。
クロッキー紙にオレンジのクレヨンを塗ったところ、均一に近いオレンジではなくて
下の画像にあるようなオレンジの点々が出来ました。
この紙は、クロッキーブックの終わりに近い紙だったのです。そしてクロッキーブックの裏表紙は、
粗いデコボコのある厚紙でした。つまり、一種のフロッタージュになったのですね。
他の色でも、もちろん同じフロッタージュ効果が得られました。
