“Dragonfly Heaven”, Stage 3 / ステージ３．Still in progress / まだ制作進行中
So, here is Stage 3.
When I was at the site, there was a swarm of red dragonflies
strolling around in the atmosphere
Known as “Sympetrum frequens” (autumn darters),
those insects are quite common in Japan.
They eat mosquitos, and so have been appreciated
by many. In some parts of Japan, there even are some age-old
prohibitions here, “Don’t catch dragonflies!”
You see, the images and treatments of dragonflies here
are drastically different from those of the West.

The manufacturer claims that the ink of those markers I use
is durable at least for 25 years.

この現場にいた時、赤とんぼの群れが天空を飛び回っていました。
日本では見慣れたトンボですが、西側世界ではトンボに対する
イメージが日本とはかなり異なります。
それで、上の英語では「日本におけるトンボのイメージ」を
短く説明してあります。
