Just an experiment with imaginary characters / 単なる、架空の文字を創作する実験
This is nothing more than an experiment — Christian Vander, the leader of
a music unit named “MAGMA” and a splendid drummer, invented an
imaginary language called “Cobaian”.
I sometimes try creating some unknown characters, maybe for
future use in my paintings.
It is tougher than some might think — some “imaginary characters” come out to
somehow resemble some “existing” letters of Arabic, Hebrew, Greek, Russian, etc.

これは、単なる実験です。
MAGMAという音楽ユニットのリーダーで卓越したドラマーである
Christian Vanderという方が、「コバイヤ語」という架空の原語を
創作しました。
私もときに、何か架空の文字を創作したくなることがあります。
将来の絵画作品で、使えるかもしれませんし。
やってみると、これは思ったより大変です。「架空の文字」のつもりが、
どうも「実在の」アラビア文字やヘブライ文字、ギリシャ文字、ロシア文字などに
似てしまう場合がありましてね。
