“Ohana-batake”, priming / 下塗り

Here is the priming for a new painting.
”Ohana-batake”, literally “flower farm”, is a Japanese word
often used to indicate a groundless, unrealistic trust in
something wished for.
Now, in Japan today, some people are claiming that
the nation should go for nuclear armament, with
“ohana-batake” belief in nuclear deterrence.

こちらは、新しい作品のための下塗り。
現在の日本では、核抑止を「お花畑信仰」して
核武装なり核共有なりを主張する勢力がありますよね。
それを描く、社会批評的な作品になります。
