So, here’s a Mother’s Day card I’ve made on commission from a friend.
I know it’s a sort of a cliche, but I’ved never met or spoken to the “recipient” of the card — I had to “play it safe.” I just couldn’t use much of my imagination.

ありふれた絵柄なのは自覚していますが、このカードの受け手の方と、私は話したことも会ったことがないのです。「無難な」絵柄にするしか、ないわけですね。いつもの想像力をあまり発揮できないのです。

The CPU of my “deceased” PC is now “dead”
and I simply have to get a new computer.
This means I have to ask you to wait until
I get a new PC.

私のPCが壊れてしまい、新しいのを入手する
まで、通常の投稿ができません。
CPUそのものが「お亡くなり」になったようで、
新しいPCを買ってくるしかありません。

Shortly after my neighborhood cherry trees
prospered in full blossom, the petals travelled around
in the windy sky.
It was a “flowery sky” indeed.

花弁が風の舞う空を旅していました。
実に flowery sky だったわけです。
