So, over here in Tokyo, currently it’s the season of hydrangeas — watching them closely, I found this species of flowers, some poisonous, do have some mysterious power to incite φαντασμα (phantasma) — so, I am painting this depiction of such phantasia, which is still in progress. I know such a fantasy is easy to describe with soft pastel, yet here I am using coloring pencil instead, in order to show the fantasy covers minute details as well.

ここ東京では現在、アジサイのシーズンです。で、アジサイを近くで見つめていると、どうもこの株によっては有毒の植物には、どこか幽玄な力があって、見る人に φαντασμα (ファンタスマ) を引き起こす力があるようです。そこで、そういうファンタジーを描こうとしています。
この種のファンタジーは、ソフトパステルで描きやすいのですが、本作ではファンタジーがディテールまで含んでいることを示すため、色鉛筆で作業中です。
