Initial sketch （下絵）for “Run! For Your Life!!” （死にたくなければ、走って逃げろ!）

Well, this is the initial sketch for a new painting, titled
“Run! For Your Life!!”
It is a depiction of the Japanese society after March 2011, when
a severe earthquake and tsunami touched off the Fukushima Daiichi
meltdown.
The nuclear plant is still in debris, with the Declaration of
State of Nuclear Emergency still in effect.
Nonetheless, the national government and some business tycoons are
determined to restart the nation’s existing nuclear plants.
The pandemonium of a society like this looks like this sketch to me —
This is another protest painting.

これは、”Run! For Your Life!!”（死にたくなければ、走って逃げろ！）
という新しい作品の下絵です。
その作品は、２０１１年３月以降の日本社会のあり方を描いたものです。
つまり、巨大地震と津波に誘発されて、福島第一がメルトダウンを起こして
以降の日本社会ですね。
福島第一は今もがれきの山ですし、非常事態宣言は今も発令されたままです。
それなのに、国家政府や財界の一部は頑迷に既存の核発電所を
再稼働させようと躍起になっています。
そうした伏魔殿のような社会のあり方が、私にはこのスケッチの
ように見えるのですね。
つまり、プロテスト絵画です。
