下のチューリップ、少し進んで50%ほど出来ました。作業はまだまだ続きます。

50% done / 半分ほどできました

I was quite busy with some other jobs last week, and just resumed working on this “new motif” — tulips.
This is only 30% done, and the work goes on.

先週はずっと他の仕事で多忙で、ようやくこの「新しいモチーフ」つまりチューリップの作業を
再開しました。
これはまだ30%ほどの進捗度で、作業はまだまだ続きます。

IF you ever joined in a human model drawing session before, you know at many of such sessions, the timeline goes, say,
Round 1 (say, 20 min) –> a quick break (say, 5 min) –> Round 2 (20) –> a quick break (5) –> Round 3 (say, 15 min) –> a long break (say, 15 min) –> Round 4 (15) –> —- or something like that.

During each break, the model, whether male or female, often wears a “chemise”-type garment.
On Feb. 19, at the drawing session I attended, the model was relaxing during a 5-min break, like this — I found her lovely this way, so I made this croquis in 5 minutes, with felt-tip markers. Shortly put, it’s just a prank!

人体デッサンの下位に参加されたことがおありの皆様なら、その時間割をご存じでしょう。
たとえば、
第1ラウンド（たとえば、20分）→ 5分休憩 → 第2ラウンド（20） → 5分休憩 → 第3ラウンド（たとえば、15分） → 長い休憩（たとえば、15分） → 第4ラウンド（15） → ・・・・
とか。

各休憩時間の間、男女を問わずモデルさんは、「シュミーズ」のような上下1つの薄い服をまとってらっしゃることが、よくあります。
2月19日のデッサン会でも、モデルさんがそうした服を休憩中にまとってらっしゃいました。そして、ある5分休憩の間、こんな感じでリラックスしてらっしゃったのですね。なんだか、その姿がかわいらしく思えたので、5分でクロッキーしちゃいました。紙にマーカーです。要するに、悪ふざけですが。
