As you see, in this anti-war painting,
I intend to take advantage of oil pastel’s
clumsy coarseness.
To depict war, this coarseness works, I think.
Now this is close to the finish.
この反戦絵画では、御覧のとおりオイルパステルの
稚拙な荒々しさを意図的に利用しています。
戦争を描く場合、この荒々しさがむしろ役に立つと
思うのですね。
もうすぐ完成です。
