this time, on a solid black shirt.

I’ve been slowly working on this wax pastel study for a future painting, to be titled “Cosmos Field II”, and now it is at a halt.
Why?
I have found an interesting persimmon tree, which I made a quick sketch of, and now I hope to move forward with it, rather than this cosmos field.
I’ll show you a study for the persimmon tree in the near future.
Cosmos Field II というタイトルにする予定の将来の絵画作品のための、このワックスパステルの習作ですが、一旦停止にします。
なぜか？
面白い柿の木を見つけたので、それをスケッチしたのですね。
それを作品へと進めたく思います。その間、このコスモス フィールドの習作は
一旦停止とします。
柿の木の習作を、近いうちに紹介しますね。

Below on Nov. 1, I showed you Stage 1 (just begun) of this T-shirt’s
back side.
Here, the back side is done.
You see some taches of turquoise on this side — why??
Well, needless to say, I first did without the tache (French for “stain”)
of turquoise, but the result looked “too neat” to me.
So, I just sprinkled some turquoise over the back to give it
some sense of “avant garde”.
You know, street fashions and fashion / art activism often
need to carry some sense of “progressiveness”!

下の11月1日、このButterfly Tシャツの背面、描き初めを
紹介しました。
本日は、その完成。
ご覧のとおり、ターコワズ色のtache（しみ）を付けてあります。
なぜ？
もちろん、最初はtacheなしで完成させようとしたのですが ・・・
「キチンとし過ぎ」ていたのですね。
そこで、ターコワズのペイントを背面にこぼし、tacheを付けました。
やはり、ストリート ファッションや Fashion activism では、
何らかのアヴァンギャルド性があったほうが良いですよね。
そんなデザインをお考えで、私（ひで）に描かせてみよう・・・

For the finished work, I think I’ll use oil and wax pastels.

I love a cosmos field — flower petals of vivid colors seem to “float” over the bed of
green.
So, here I go again with a just-begun study for another painting of a cosmos field.
I think for the finish work I’ll use wax and oil pastels.
私はコスモスフィールドが好きなんです ・・ グリーンの下敷きの上で、
鮮やかな花弁が「浮いている」ようで。
そこで、またコスモス フィールドを描くことにし、習作の制作を始めました。
描き始めたところです。
完成作には、ワックスパステルとオイルパステルを使うかな。

Here is what the back side of the “Male Soprano” shirt below was before I began
painting on it.
As you see, though this image shows colors weaker than the actual ones,
I dyed the shirt first. When I bought the shirt, it was in solid white.
Then, after the dyes dried up, I began the painting.
This way, you can have your fav motif / message on a color(s) of your
preference.

下の Male Soprano シャツの背面ですが、ペイントを始める前には
こんな感じでした。
この画像ではどうも色が実物よりも薄くなってしまっているのですが、
それでも私が最初にシャツを染めたことは、お分かりいただけるでしょう。
買った時点では、単純に真っ白なシャツだったのです。
染料が乾いてから、ペイントを始めました。
このやり方なら、お好きなモチーフやメッセージを、お好きな色の上に
排することができますね。
