Way back in the mid 1990s, I made the pastel sketch of a Tokyo Bay beach, shown below —-
It is not with me anymore, so I am making a pointillism version of it, based on a photo of the pastel painting.

* Since this is a painting depicting an ugly aspect of our society, I don’t think anyone will want to have it. So, here I do not specify a price to it. Rather, I hope my paintings of social issues will inspire viewers to think about such aspects.

This is just a 20-minute croquis (quick drawing). I joined in another croquis session on July 16th.

Just 20 minutes, so it’s coarse and contains several errors,  but I’m planning to turn it into a full-fledged painting. Please wait.

So, I’m working on the urban-scape sketch below —
— “What a mess!”, you might scream.
With this particular, sketch, I intended to create something that shows a very messy,
ugly side of our cities today. So, it’s going to be even more messy as I keep working on it —

そんなわけで、下のスケッチをもとに作業を進めております。
「ひどい、ゴチャゴチャ」とか言われるかもしれませんね。
このスケッチでは、当初から現代の年のあるゴチャゴチャで醜悪な面を描こうとしているのです。
だから、作業をする目るにつれて、さらにゴチャゴチャにしていくのですね。

— yet as usual, it will actually turn into something that shows an aspect of our society today.
