Why IXΘYC (Ichthus) with the daffodils?
Well, there is a Christian legend saying that some flowers of this
species blossomed around the empty tomb of Jesus after his resurrection. So, daffodils are sometimes used as a symbol of the resurrection.

The polo, back / そのポロ、裏面

So, my “Enlivening dull clothes” project goes on —
This polo, whose back is shown above, is in a lovely ultramarine blue.
Still, plain, solid ultramarine can look gloomy, especially in a dark environment.
So, I am lightening it up — please wait for my future posts!

「パッとしない服に元気を」プロジェクトを続けます。
上に背面を示しているこのポロは、きれいなウルトラマリーン ブルーですよね。
でも、ウルトラマリーン一色というのは、特に暗い環境ではかなり沈んで見えることが。

So, this is what the back of the “pajama-turned no-nuke shirt” below says —- this is not finished yet. Please wait till I post the finished state.

I wish Toshiba and Hitachi had had wise CEOs, who would have led the businesses in the right direction.

下の「パジャマを変身させた反核シャツ」の裏面のメッセージです。
「裏面は、まだ完成しておりません。完成した状態をアップロードするまで、しばしお待ちくださいませ。

東芝や日立にもこうした賢明なCEOがいて、ビジネスを正しい方向に指揮してくれたいたらなあ、と願うのです。

So, as you see above, I’ve written a no-nuke message on the front side of the “dull” solid gray pajama.
I think now the “pajama” looks like a message shirt, and I hope you do too!

It is a satire aimed at biz tycoons like Toshiba and Hitachi, whose nuclear plant business  went broke. I am not ridiculing them but hoping they will shift their operations from nuclear plant building to decommissioning — you know, the worldwide demand for nuclear power plant decommissioning is expected to expand over the next decade or so as more states have decided to go nuke-free.

そんなわけで、この「パッとしない」グレイのパジャマに、反核メッセージを書き込みました。
これで、パジャマがメッセージ シャツに変身したと思うのですが、いかがでしょうか？

このメッセージ（「原発ビジネスに手を出して、大赤字だそう！」）は、原発事業が巨大赤字になった日立や東芝にあてた皮肉です。とはいえ、何も馬鹿にしてるんじゃなくて、原発の解体事業にシフトしてくれという願いが込められています。ご存じのとおり、原発をやめることにした諸国が増えたので、解体事業の需要はこれから像だ愛するはずですのでね。
