How durable is the ink??

In my paintings of felt-tip marker pointillism for sale, I use those PITT Artist Pens with “**” or “***” from Faber-Castell alone.
The manufacturer claims that the ink of PITT Artist Pens with “**” lasts 25 years or longer,
with those carrying “***” 100 years or more.

OK, I’m a painter and certainly not a “dye artist” — though the clothes I’m wearing are often “colored” with oil paints, pastel, marker ink, etc.  (^O^  ;;;)
Yet this customer asked for “dyeing” of her solid-white shirt.
So, here it is, and she liked it.

私は絵描きであって、「染物アーティスト」ではないのですが、・・・ まあ、
私が着ているものは、油絵の具だのパステルだのマーカーのインクだので色がついている
場合が多いのですけどね。(^O^ ;;;)
とにかく、このお客様は、ご自分の「真っ白なシャツ」を「染める」ようにとの
ご注文でした。
で、これが出来ましたが、お客様のお気に召したようです。

Since I’m not a “dye artist,” the rate for dyeing is to be negotiated for each and every order.
私は「染物アーティスト」ではないので、染めるご注文の料金は、
個々の注文ごとに相談とさせていただきます。

Argument II — Existence / Non-existence

I joined in another human model croquis (quick drawing) session on May 7.
Here is one from the six poses there — a vary “conservative” one, I know.
Why such a “conservative” one? Well, I think I’ll launch a “Li’l framed series” as part of my “Easy Looking” paintings (just click on “Easy Looking” for sale — in the black menu above.)

昨日、5月7日も、人体クロッキー（速写画）会に行ってきました。
そこでの6ポーズから、1つ。大変、「おとなしい」クロッキーなのは、自覚しております。
なぜ、そんなものを？実は、「Easy Looking — （販売用の、馴染みやすい作品）」 （上の黒いメニューで、クリックしてみてください）  の一環として、「フレーム入りの小さな作品」シリーズを始めようと考えているわけですね。

As you know, most of us living in the Far East have been threatened with a nuclear strike, especially over the last few weeks. Of course, I know the probability of a missile-and-bomber war actually happening is still small, yet when it comes to a nuclear war, a 1/100 possibility is serious enough to alert us.

Here in Tokyo too, many citizens are living with an earnest wish that the current overcast of gloomy clouds of anxieties would soon disappear.

As an artist, I have to come up with a work of protest and prayer for peace. We, humans, need to get over an absurdity like this —-

みなさまもご体験のように、北東アジアに住んでいる人間の多くは、この2~3週間ほど核攻撃の不安と一緒に暮らしております。無論、実際にドンパチになる可能性は小さいことは存じていますが、核戦争という問題では1/100の可能性も真剣に考えませんと。

ここ東京でも、多くの市民は日々、この不安の暗雲が早く晴れてくれることを願っています。

アーティストとして、私も平和への祈りと蛮行への抗議の作品を発表したいものです。人類が、この作品に描いたような愚行を克服できることを ・・・
