Haven’t worked on this for a while,
but resumed.
Here, it’s in Stage 2.
“Plants” are supposed to remain static
and silent, but what if another planet
hosts some plants that fly and are eloquent
— ?

しばらくこの作品の制作が中断して
おりましたが、再開しました。
これが、ステージ２。
「植物」はじっと沈黙しているものと
されていますが、どこかの惑星
（another planet）に空を舞う雄弁な
植物がいたとしたら ～～？

“Horizontal”
Done.
Nakedness implies “lack of protection”.
If someone lies down naked before a great wide horizon,
that space is a very well protected world.

“Horizontal” (地平の）
完成です。
裸であるとは、「保護の欠如」でもあります。
誰かが広大な地平線を見渡しながら裸体で
横たわっているとすれば、その空間は
実は保護の行き届いた世界でもありましょう。

Stage 1 — only just begun.
You know, we humans are unable to climb up
through the atmo sphere.
An aircraft / rocket “carries the crew upwards”.
We need someone/something to lift us up.

ステージ1 ・・ 描きはじめ
言うまでもないですが、私たち人類は
大気中を登っていくことは、できません。
飛行機やロケットが、乗員を「上方へと
運ぶ」わけです。
つまり、私を引き上げてくれる「何か」が必要だと。

I didn’t like the first pencil scratch for “Taking Off”,
shown bellow on Jan. 2, so I reworked on it.
Here’s the new one, with which I will proceed.

下の1月2日にお見せした “Taking Off” のための鉛筆
スクラッチ、自分で気に入りませんでした。そこで、
描きなおしたものです。
この新しいスクラッチで、制作を進めますね。

The image above is dark — poor photo lighting. Here’s a scanned image of a right-side detail, which is a lot closer to the actual colors. / 上の画像、どうも暗いですね。露光が不足してました。こちらの右側ディテールはスキャナーによるもので、実際の色に近いです。

So, “Winged Creature” is done.

Winged Creature, done / 完成

I seem to like the motif “another planet” — here’s the initial pencil scratch for a new painting titled “Another Planet 3”.
