Maybe some of you are disappointed to see the samples below —
Yet remember, “design sketches” are to be reworked on and reconsidered. They are nothing final.
A customer sent me an order for a “No Nukes + Peace” black crew-neck T-shirt, and below I show you its design sketches, front and back.
Unless the order is for a design already shown in this weblog, I usually make things like these, and when the customer gives an approval, I work on the “real clothes.”
When the “real work” is done, I’ll post its photos here.

このデザイン略画だけご覧になると、「なんだこれ、へたくそ～～」と思われるかも。
デザイン略画とは、決して最終的なものでなく、さらに修正などを加えるので、この程度のものがよいのです。
あるお客様から、「No Nukes + Peace」 ブラック クルーネックTシャツのご注文をいただきました。そのオモテとウラのデザイン略画を下に。
このブログで既に掲載しているデザインをご注文の場合を除き、たいていの場合、こういうデザイン略画を作成し、お客様からご承認が得られたら、「実物」（Tシャツなど)に作業を始めるのです。
実物が出来たら、また写真をここで紹介しますね。

I know it’s 11:30pm JST, but I’m happy to announce that the custom-made, hand-painted workshop of Atelier anastasia is back in “business as usual” — I’ve been having one rush writing job after another over the last several days, and I’ve done them all!

I, Heeday, am totally occupied today through Tuesday, May 13th, with some urgent writing jobs.
In case you make an order to me during those four days, for a custom-hand-painted T-shirt, an accessory, etc., I can start working on it on Wednesday, May 14th. I’d appreciate your understanding.

みなさま、
私（わしお）が 本日10日から5月13日まで、ライティングの仕事で一杯になっております。この間にオーダーメイド ハンドペイントTシャツなり、アクセサリーなりのご注文をいただくと、5月14日の作業開始になります。　悪しからず、ご了承くださいませ。

あいも変わらず、携帯カメラの写真でボヤケています！ スイマセン～～
とにかく、これがウラ面、途中まで出来ています。

こういう具象物とタッシュを混ぜた作品（絵画とか)をギャラリーなどで展示していると、だれかが「木は良く描けているけど、この緑や青の汚れは、なんだ？」と仰るものです。
正直なところ、ここでも樹木は容易でした。難しかったのは、染料を適切な色合いに混ぜること、そして適切な「スプラッシュ」にスプラッシュ（ドリッピング）することだったのです。それによって、空や木の葉を思い起こさせるような「スプラッシュ」にしないと。
結局のところ、このシャツは「秋ぽく」なっていますので、「裸の樹木 → 空や木の葉の分散 → 再生」といった連想を創り出したかったのですね。

そんなわけで、絵画を描かない方々も、いわゆる「抽象絵画｣というのがかなり作りにくい代物であることは、覚えてらしてくださいな。
で、次の実験は何か「夏っぽい」ものにすることでしょう。

Anyway, this is the back side of the “imprimatura” experiment, half done.

Almost always, some people say, “The tree is done well, but what are all those ‘tache”???”
Honestly, friends, the tree was easy. The hard part was making mixing the dyes into the right colors and “splashing” (dripping) them in the right “splashes” — by which I mean let those “tache” make you imagine the sky, leaves, etc.  After all, this shirt is growing more “autumnal” and I wanted to associate with the shirt “naked trees –> dissipation of the sky and leaves –> rebirth.”
Thus, so-called “abstract paintings” are something very hard to create ~~~ take my words for it, if you are not a painter.
So, my next experiment will be something “summerish” —

「絵画で言えば、インプリマトゥーラ」～～つまり有色のシャツを染める実験の続きです。
今日の作業を始める前には、「木のように見えるデコルカマニー」にもっと茶色のバリエーションを重ねようかと思ってました。
でも。しばらく見ていると、このデコルカマニーはこのままで良いと思えました。そうではなく、別の色を入れて、全体のメリハリをつけようと決めました。
そんなわけで、ピンクのデコルカマニーを加えました。袖にも。皆様のお気に召せば、幸いです。
これで全体としては、このシャツは「秋ぽい」ですね！　今日の東京は、5月の暖かな春日なのですが。
