So, another “joky” work is in the making — this time it’s not a ring.
I want to apply the size-adjustability of the “joky” structure to something else.
Can anyone tell what type of an accessory this is going to be??

また新たに制作中の「ふざけた」シリーズ作品です。今度は、リングではありません。
「ふざけた」シリーズのサイズ調整できるという特徴を、リング以外でも活かしてみたいのですね。
リングでなけりゃ、何なのか？どなたか、お分かりになりますか？

I said a “joky ring” is size-adjustable — here, see what I meant.

To wear it around your finger:
Photo 1 — Just put it on your fingertip.
Photo 2 — Push it down to the root of the finger.
Photo 3 — Now, pull the “hanging portion.”
Last photo — Done!

Quite an easy joke, isn’t it?

「ふざけたリング」はサイズ調整できると申しました。以下の写真をご覧になれば、その意味はすぐにお分かりいただけるはず。

指つけるには:
写真 1 ・・ 指先に入れる

Here is a closer-up photo of the same joky-turned-serious ring rosary, worn on a model hand’s finger.
Actually, the colors — white, green, and red — are all “liturgical colors” of classical Christianity. So, this is actually something serious made in a joky format!

こうすれば、ディテールが分かりやすいでしょ？同じ、ふざけたリングのロザリオ バージョンです。

実をいうと、白・緑・赤という色はいずれも、古典的キリスト教での典礼色なんです。そんなわけで、実はけっこうマジメなものを、ふざけたフォーマットで作ったのです。。

As I said below, here is a photo of the joke-turned serious rosary ring, worn on a finger of a model hand.
A motif hanging loose from the little finger is “joky,” I think, but what do you say??
I’ll show you a few more photos like this in the days to come, while trying the ring on my own finger to see how it actually is disturbing or not.

下で申しあげたように、ハンドモデルの指に付けてみた写真です。
モチーフが小指からぶら下がっているところが、「ふざけて」いると思うわけですが、皆様はどうお感じになりますでしょうか？
明日以降、こうした写真をもう少し紹介しますね。一方、自分自身でもこのふざけたリングをつけてみて、どの程度邪魔になるか/ならないかを実験します。

Here, the joky ring in the making below is done!
This is a “ring rosary”, so it is meant to be a “serious joke”, though.

As you see, a beaded ring, when it is not worn around a finger, often looks crumpled —
especially my joky rings.
So, I’ll show you some photos of it worn by a model hand, tomorrow or later!!
Just wait before you say, “It’s crumpled!”

下で制作中だった「ふざけたリング」、完成です。
ただしこれに限っては、リング ロザリオなので、単に「ふざけた」だけじゃないのですが。

ご覧のとおり、ビーズを編んだリングは、指にはめていないと、クシャクシャにみえることがよくあります。特にこの、「ふざけたリング」はそうです。
ですから明日ないしそれ以降に、手のモデルの指に付けた状態の写真を紹介していきますね。
「なんや、クシャクシャやんか！」とおっしゃる前に、しばしお待ちくださいな。

This weblog has a page showing a hand-painted tanktop in the making (Just click on the “Making (—)” in the menu above.), yet so far
I have yet to show a beaded accessory in the making.
Yet what is it that is in the making here? Another “joky ring.”
Since these “jokies” are size-adjustable, I need to try one of them on myself to confirm it does not fall off a ring or disturb your hand.
I’ll show you more photos after the “joky” is done, and also when the “trial” result is up!

本ブログでは ”Making” のページ (上のメニューをクリック) でハンドペイント
タンクトップのメーキングは紹介しておりますが、ビーズ アクセサリーの
メーキングはあまり紹介してきませんでした。
そこで、制作中の、もう1つの「ふざけたリング」のメーキングです。
サイズを調整できるという変わりものなので、自分でも付けてみて、外れないか、手の邪魔にならないかなどを実験します。
出来上がったら、もっと写真を公開します。「実験」が終わったら、その結果もお知らせしますね。

Once again, sorry my camera is not good enough to give you clear-cut closeups —
Yet no trick in the photos above, I swear. This joky ring is size-adjustable. Put it on your finger, and just pull the joky portion, the “tail” hanging the bigger glass, to adjust.
Note, between the two photos above, this portion’s length is different. These are not two similar rings, but two states of the same single ring.

やはり、クロースアップでの私のカメラの解像度が悪いことは、お詫び申し上げます。ただ、上の2枚の写真には、何の細工もありません。この「ふざけたリング」。サイズ調整できるんです。指にはめてから「ぶら下がる部分」を引っ張るだけです。
その部分の長さが、上の2枚で異なっていることにご注意ください。似たようなリング2個ではなくて、同じ1個のリングの2つの状態なのですね。

A “joky beaded ring”

It’s not tough to weave some small beads (“seed beads”) into a ring — yet the result usually looks like a “toy,” unless you put a lot of expensive natural stones in it.
OK, then, why not take advantage of this “toylike-ness” and create some “pop and joky” rings???
– A string of beads worn around a finger
– With a larger “stone” (glass) hung on the string’s end
— see? It’s joky.
Needless to say, I meant this to go with  “pop,” casual wear.

In the photo below, the “model hand” is wearing an example of such a ring, around its little finger.
The little finger, around its root, has a circumference of 55.5mm. Still, as I’ll elaborate in several days, the wearer can adjust the ring’s size, to some extent.

If you want to try one, just let me know
– the design you want (especially, whether you want a natural stone(s) in the ring or not
– the approximate size of the ring you want (though it is adjustable to some extent).
Then, I can make one to your order.
