So, here I go with a new series of painting experiments — pointillism with oil pastel!

Shown left below is the original 20-minute croquis (quick drawing).
Shown right is the experiment in progress — the body painted with pointillism. on the background of water color.

In this experiment, I’ll apply oil pastel on the background as well.
Maybe, I’d better leave the right image as the “done” work, yet this is an experiment anyway.
Whatever the result becomes, I’ll show the “result” when it is done —

絵画では、オイルパステルによる点描の実験をすでに始めております。

右側が、進行中の実験 ・・ 水彩の背景に、身体をオイルパステルで点描です

この実験では、さらに背景にもオイルパステルを塗っていきます。
これ以上オイルパステルを塗らないで、この右側の状態で「完成」とした方が良いのかもしれませんが、これは実験なので。
実験の「結果」は、出来次第、ここでまたお目にかけますね。

My “felt-tip marker pointillism” experiment goes on —
This time, did I successfully bring the sense of “leave her alone” out of the sleeping model?? I know well that this is a queer question, yet the “seemingly asleep” model created in me the sense, “Leave her alone. Don’t wake her up.”  In short, I tried to make my impression (leave her alone) speak out through the image. I hope I did so successfully.

「マーカー点描」の実験、まだまだ続いております。
今回は、「ほっといてやれ」という感じを出せたかどうか？ これ、奇妙な問いであることは、分かっております。ただ、「眠ったように見える」モデルさんのポーズを見ていて、私には「ほっといてやれ。起こすな」という感じがしましたので。要するに、自分の印象（ほっといてやれ）を画面に漂わせようとしたわけです。うまく漂わせることが、できたでしょうか？

Been posting beaded accessories, yet I’ve been working on paintings as well.
Now, in my previous two experiments, I tried to overcome some weaknesses of pointillism.
Here, I tried to take advantage of pointillism’s strength —-
In the one below, the “strength” I focused on was “dissolution –> merger (of colors)”.
After all, it’s a group of “color dots” on a surface. So, it’s easy in pointillism to make two different things (here, the body and the space containing it) dissolve and merge with each other —
I hope I successfully presented that advantage in here.

このところビーズ アクセサリーばかり投稿してきましたが、絵画もやっております！
下の、最後の2つの階が実験では、点描の弱点を何とか克服しようと努めました。
今度は、その強みを活かそうとしています。
この例で活かそうとした「強み」は、「色が溶け出す感じ → 融合」ですね。
点描は結局のところ、「色の点」の集合なので、2つのもの（ここでは、人体とそれがある空間）が溶け合って融合する感じは、出しやすいですね。
さて、それをうまく活かせていることを願います。
