通常なら、15分で描いたクロッキー（速写画）など、人前に曝すものではありません。
下にあるクロッキーも、例外ではありません。どなたでも、線が不器用でガチガチなのにお気づきになるでしょう。それもそのはず、1980年代後半に、私がデッサンなどを学び始めたときの速写画なのですから。

当時すでに、私にはLGBTの方々が知人にいて、彼らから私は「性別」というものが「二進法的」つまり「AかBか、どちらか１つだけ」というものではないことを、学びました。言い換えれば、生命というものには、人間のカテゴリー化や理解を超えた多様性のあることを。.

この認識が、この絵を学び始めたばかりのガチガチの線を描いていたころにも、すでに作用していました。「時空の中にあって、その向こうを見ている生命体」（特に、モデルさんの眼をご覧くださいな）という（いうなれば）「透視法」です。
この奇妙な「透視法」は、今では私には馴染んだ「透視法」になっています。もっとも、それが「1点透視」なのか、「4点」（3つの次元プラス時間）なのか、私にもわからないのですが。

そして。裸の女性を femme fatale として描くというのは、ジェンダー主義の生み出した「トンカチ頭」（cliche）の1つでしょう。人体を生命体として描くことで、確かに、ヒトの裸体をジェンダーから解放する視点が得られます。ただ、その結果は、一部の人たちには、「清潔すぎる」と見えるようですね。

Usually, a 15-minute croquis (quick drawing) is not meant for public display.
The one below is no exception. Anyone can notice its rigid, clumsy lines — I made this croquis soon I after I began taking drawing lessons, back in the late 1980s.

Now, back then, I already had some LGBT acquaintances around me, from whom I learned that “sex” is not simply “binary” — it’s not flip-flop. In other words, life takes diversities beyond human categorization / comprehension.

And this perception was already at work in me as I made these rigid, cranky lines. “A life form placed in time/space, looking beyond.” (Notice, especially, the eyes of the model.)
This “perspective” — a life form in time/space looking beyond — has by now become a “perspective” I have acquired, even though I do not know whether it is “1-point” or “4-point” (3Ds plus time).

Also, painting a naked woman as femme fatale has long been one of the cliches produced by genderism.  Painting a human body as a life form can certainly de-gender naked bodies. The results of this de-gendering can seem to be “goodie clean” to some.

この10日間ほど、大急ぎのコピーライティングの仕事がひっきりなしに入っており、起きている時間のすべてを占拠してくれています。
そのため、現在進めている作品が停滞してしまっております。仕方なくその間、ずっと昔に描いた「退屈な」デッサンの類をあげておきますね。「退屈」ですが、どこか笑えるエピソードがあるものを。

下の彫刻ですが、90年代にある絵描きさんのアトリエにお邪魔した時に、そこに置いてあったので、いつも持ち歩く鉛筆とスケッチブックで描いたものです。その女性の絵描きさんとおしゃべりしながら、並行して描いたものです。

言葉を交わしながらデッサンが出来上がると、その女性の絵描きさんがおっしゃるには、「よく描けているけど、清潔すぎるわ」
もちろん私は、その発言が不思議で面白かったのです。「清潔すぎる … って、どういうことなんですか？？ (^o^ )　」

その絵描きさん： 「この彫刻、男性が描くとたいていは、どっかセクシーな感じに描くんだけど、あなたは それがないのよ」
私：「それは、どうもありがとうございます」
その絵描きさん：「誉めていったわけでもなくて、でもけなしてるんでも ないんだけど…  男性の多くは、女性の姿にどこか、セクシーな意味を見つけやすいんだけど、あなたはどっか別の方を見ているようね」
私：「それはちと、ステレオタイプですよ。たとえば、描く人がLGBTの方だったら？？  まったく違う視点があるはずで～～」

どうも、この女性の絵描きさんは、まだLGBTの人たちのことをまだ、「奇妙な少数派」と見てらしたようです。
私自身は、すでにLGBTの知人が何人かいたので、まったく「普通の」人たちと見ていたのですね。振り返ってみると、彼・彼女らにお礼を言いたいくらいです。私の視野を広げてくれたからです。

Over the last ten days, countless rush copy writing jobs have been occupying my time awake.
So, while my current works are forced to stay at a temporary stop, allow me to post some boring drawings I made years ago —  boring, yet carry some laughable episode with them.

The sculpture below, I drew back in the 1990s, when I visited another painter’s workshop, where I found it. I just made this drawing with a pencil and a sketchbook I carried along daily, while chatting with that painter, who happened to be female.

The drawing was done, as we exchanged some words, and the female painter said, “It’s very well drawn, yet it’s goodie clean.”
Of course, I replied, in an amused manner, “Goodie clean — what do you mean, ma’am?”

The sculpture — “goodie clean”??

She: “When other male painters draw this, they usually come up with some sexual implications. You didn’t.”
Me: “Thanks for the compliment.”
She: “I’m not sure if this is a compliment or not. Many male artists look at some sexual implications in a female figure, yet you seem to look another way —”
Me: “Well, I’d say that’s a cliche. For one thing, what if the artist is a LGBT??
Countless ways are there to see the same thing — ”

Looked like she somehow still thought of LGBT people as “queer.”
As for myself, I was already familiar with some LGBTs back then and, looking back, I have to thank them for broadening my sight.

I know this makes no sense to most of you — it’s still an underpainting.
I apply more layers of paints on it to make it a “painting.”
Yet please note that I took weeks between the left and right below.
This means at long last, I decided what to paint on the “priming” shown left, which was made by chance.

これ、なんやら訳が分からないと思います。まだ、下絵なのですから。
これから、これに何層も絵の具を重ねていって、「絵画」にします。
ただ、この左から右に進むのに、何日も要したのですね。
つまり、左の偶然できた「地塗り」のうえに何を描くのか、ようやく決まったということなんです。

このところ、ここでの投稿が少なくなっております。
これは、アトリエ あなすたーしゃの複数あるウェブサイト類を、組織化しようとしているためですね。
★ このWordPressブログ以外に、あなすたーしゃのウェブサイトが http://ermite.just-size.net/ にあります。
両者を、結び付けようと思います。
★ このWordPress自体も、ビーズ アクセサリーと絵画類が混在しており、やや混乱していました。
絵画用の新しいブログを立ち上げて、本ブログはビーズ アクセサリー専用にしようと思います。
★ 2～3か月のうちに、その新しい絵画用ブログと本アクセサリー ブログとを、既存のあなすたーしゃ ウェブサイト (http://ermite.just-size.net/) のもとで結び付けよう、という計画です。

つまり —
本ブログはビーズ アクセサリー専用にして、絵画類（Tシャツ類も含む）は、新しいブログに移そうと。そしてどちらも、あなすたーしゃのフロントページ（http://ermite.just-size.net/）から簡単にアクセスできるようにしよう、ということです。

My posts here have been less frequent than before, over the last week or so —
This is because I am slowly reshaping the whole structure of Atelier anastasia’s websites.
★ In addition to this WordPress weblog, there has been an anastasia website at http://ermite.just-size.net/
I’m trying to integrate (not unify into one, though) these.
★ This WordPress weblog itself has contained both paintings and beaded accessories, somehow messing them up.
I’m trying to set up another weblog dedicated to paintings, while dedicating this one to beaded accessories  alone.
★ So, in a few months, this weblog and the new painting weblog should come linked to each other, under the existing anastasia website (http://ermite.just-size.net/).

I plan to —
carry beaded accessories here, while showing paintings (incl. those on clothes) on the new painting weblog. Both should be easily accessible from the anastasia front page (http://ermite.just-size.net/).

Recently, I’ve been posting beaded accessories and paintings on paper, mostly, while “Anastasia” does hand-dyeing and hand-painting as well —
Here is a collared white shirt, painted in light lavender. I will add other colors as well. Struggling to make a collared white shirt more “street-like” —

「あなすたーしゃ」はハンドペイントや手染めの衣類のアトリエでもあるのですが、このところビーズ アクセサリーや絵画ばかり投稿してきました。
衣類の方も、やっておりますよ！
こちらは、エリのある白いシャツを淡いラベンダーに染めたものです。これから、他の色も加えます。エリのある白いシャツをどう「ストリートぽく」するか、苦闘してます。

If you dig down “Older posts” below, on April 12 you can find my finished oil painting, “Weeping Face.”
I made a small “imprimatura” with the paints left over from it. Now, I decided to make a painting of some lilies, simply because flowers are something I have handled only a few times.
Still, often working in “art activism,” flowers are a tough motif for me, and I’m having a hard time what to do with them —
I’ll post more of this painting just started, as it progresses.

ずっと下で “Older posts” をクリックしていただくと、4月12日に”Weeping Face” を完成させたのですが、その時の余った絵の具で小さなインプリマトゥーラを作りました。今回、それにユリを描こうと思うのですね。花というモチーフを、あまり私は描いてこなかったので。
私が「アート アクティビズム」に関わることがよくあるので、花が私には馴染まないモチーフになっているのは、ご理解いただけるでしょう。そのため、かなり悩んでおります～～
まあ、進行にあわせて何度か掲載していきますね。
