I don’t know why, but looks like I’ve been making some custom-made beaded accessories as well, as you see below. Maybe it’s time I should add an “Accessories” page to this weblog — let me think.

下でご覧のとおり、 お客様からのご注文で、オーダーメイドのビーズ アクセサリーもいくつか作ってきました。そろそろ、このブログに「アクセサリー」のページを追加すべきでしょうかね？？　少し、考えます。

The client of the amethyst choker below requested for further “fine adjustment” — to minimize the length of the pendant. So, see the photos below. You see, such fine-tuning is only available from a custom-making service!

下の記事のアメジスト チョーカーですが、お客様からさらに微調整のご要望がありました。「ペンダントの長さを最小限に」というものです。というわけで、写真をご覧ください。言うまでもなく、オーダーメイドだから可能な微調整ですね。

The amethyst choker in the right photo of the June 13th post (below) has been re-designed by the client again — now, it looks like the two photos below. Let me repeat that only a made-to-order workshop can do such flexible work!

下の6月13日の記事で、右側の写真のアメジストのチョーカーですが、お客様のご要望で再度変更になりました。しつこいようですが、オーダーメイドのワークショップだからこそ、ここまで柔軟に対応できるわけですね。

So, the headband below is done! What perplexed me to the end was this “contradiction” — the client wants the black rubber section “fixed”, while the client is a lower teenager, whose body should grow larger in the years to come! To “aufheben,” so to speak, this contradiction, I tied the black rubber band into an adjuster, as you see in the photo!
↓ 下のヘッドバンド、完成です。最後まで悩んだのは、次の｢矛盾｣です。
・ クライアントは、黒いゴムひもの部分を「固定長」でご希望
・ ところがクライアントは10代前半なので、まだ身体が大きくなるはず
大げさに言えば、この矛盾をaufheben するため、黒いゴムバンドを「アジャスターー」のように細工したのですね。

Below, on June 11, I showed you a new headband in the making, as ordered by a certain client. Here’s more of it. The right half is done.

↓ 下で6月11日に、あるお客様からのご注文によるヘッドバンドをお見せしました。さらに作業が進んだので、最新状態を。まだ未完成ですが、右半分は出来上がっております。

So, the client of the “shell hear + amethyst & aqua marine” choker below has changed the order — now, it’s for two chokers, instead of one.
You see, only “making to an order” can provide for such flexibility!
Now, let me see what happens next —

下の「貝殻ハート＋アメジスト＆アクアマリーン｣のチョーカーですが、オーダーが変更になりまして、2本のチョーカーとなりました。
ご覧のとおり、オーダーメイドだからこそ可能な、柔軟性ですよね。
さて、お客様のご意見を待ちましょう～～

The “shell heart” choker below, reworked after the client’s request, is in the final stage of its making — the client wants it hung on a black vinyl string, and she will decide the right length of the string. 44cm (17+1/3 inches), or 50cm (20 inches) ??? 　Anyway, only “custom-making” can provide such flexibility and fine adjustment.
Now, the photos below show two different string lengths, with the same “pendant” on the same torso (modeled after a 160cm [5’4”] – tall East Asian woman). Which length do you like better??

「貝殻ハート」のチョーカーですが、本作品をご注文くださったお客様からのご要望に応じて作り直し、制作の最終段階～～ お客様は黒いビニールのコードに吊り下げるのをご希望なのですが、そのコードの長さを44cmにすべきか、50cmにすべきか、お客様にご判断いただいているところです。オーダーメイドならではの、柔軟性と細かい調整ですね。
で、50cmのコードと44cmのコード、皆様はどちらがお好きでしょうか？ペンダント自体はもちろん同じもの、トルソーも同じです。このトルソーは、身長160cmの東アジア（日本列島を含む)の女性をモデルにしています。

OK, this is basically a custom-hand-painted shirt workshop — yet I’m having some orders for beaded accessories as well. If you click “Older posts” below and go back in time, you see late April I made an experimental headband of beads.
The headband got an order. A “similar one with more pinks” is wanted by the client, and the budget is quite limited. So, no precious stone, yet an artist needs to make the very best of a strictly limited budget, as well —
The photo below shows the “making” — the work is in progress.

ここは基本的に「オーダー ハンドペイント のTシャツ屋さん」なんですが、ビーズのアクセサリーのご注文もいただいております。下の Older posts をクリックして時間を逆に進んでいただくと、4月下旬に私が試作品のヘッドバンドを公開しております。
これにも、ご注文をいただきました。「類似したもので、ピンクを多く」とのことです。ただ、ご予算が極めて限られているので、天然石などは使えません。なら、極めて限定された予算の中で、どう良い作品を作るのか？それが、アーティストの能力が試される点でもありますね。
下の写真では、メイキングを。作業進行中なんです。

So, the shell heart choker is “tentatively done” — it is subject to change upon the client’s request. This is where “making to an order” proves its might!!
The “heart section” can be attached to and detached off a string.
貝殻ハートのチョーカー、「いったん」完成です ～～　つまり、ご注文のお客様のご要望に応じて、まだ変わる可能性があります。これが、「オーダーメイド」の良いところですね。
ハートの部分を、ラバーストリングなどに着脱可能です。
